I completed both my BA(Hons) degree and PhD in Human Geography at the University of Sheffield. I gained a first in my undergraduate degree, and the 'Hart Human Geography Prize for the Best Performance in Geography by a Single Honours Geography Student' plus the 'Alice Garnett Prize for Best Dissertation'. I also completed my ESRC sponsored PhD in three years with no corrections entitled: Constructions of home – why some things ‘matter’ and are made to ‘matter’: subjectivity, identity and performance in the home space. I have specialist knowledge in Social and Cultural Geography.
